Hi, I’m Sharon! 👋
Welcome to Pet You A Latte, where my love for dogs and coffee (in that order) combined with the loss of my precious pup of sixteen years, Flash, has inspired me to love on everyone’s else’s pets!
Growing up in Chicago, I’ve had dogs — from my childhood pup, Tico (a chihuahua who was brought home to me in the pocket of my father’s coat one winter evening )— to Pepper, a sweet white-and-black mixed breed.
Flash forward to my daughters’ pick from A.D.O.P.T. Animal Shelter, a forlorn Staffordshire Pitbull named Flash who became the highlight of our lives until his passing in April 2023. The character of his gentle, loving breed has inspire my adult daughters to both have rescued Pitbulls, and my older daughter is now on her third rescue pup!
As my daughters both now live out of state, I understand, firsthand, how important it is to have a trusted, loving, mature caretaker who will treat your precious furbaby (or other pet) as their own.
And that is my promise to you.
I will provide loving care, medication administration, meals, walks, visits, and lots of pets (and hugs). My services are customizable to your pet’s particular needs.
Services
The Espresso Shot | Drop-In Visits
All visits include general check-in, playtime, walks (if applicable), litterbox/cage cleaning, medication administration, habitat adjustments, brushing, and feeding.
— 15min: $15
— 30min: $25
— 1 hour: $40
The Latte | Day/House ‘Sitting’
Two feeds and two 30-min walks are included! *We can also bundle our day/house sitting with ‘Drip Coffee’ (Overnight Care) for additional hours and/or offer 24-hour services!
*Additional feeds/walks are billed separately.
— Day Rate: $55 (Up to 5 hours)
Drip Coffee | Overnight Care
If you’re headed out of town, we’d be happy to watch your pets through the night and/or stay at your home with them.
— Day Rate: $55
— Overnight Rate: $100
— Day + Night (Up to 12 hours): $150
— 24-Hour Stay: $200
The Cold Brew | Boarding
We offer boarding services for pets in need of a safe place to say while their paw-rents are out of town. Priority to client we’ve worked with previously and/or those with good temperaments!

NOTES FOR YOU:
- We offer upgrades on all of our services, as well as custom options! Just get in touch with us if you have specific questions!
- Payment is due by EOD on the final day of services. Please note that ‘The Latte’ (Day/House Sitting) for more than four hours will be upgraded to our ‘Day Rate.’
- Pet You A Latte is not responsible for damage done by animals and is not liable for any injuries caused or sustained by animals during the duration of our pet care services. It is the owner’s responsibility to update Pet You A Latte with all pertinent information regarding illness, medication, temperament, and otherwise prior to service start date.
NOTES FROM US:
- We are a grandma-stepmama-son trio! Depending on where you live, you’ll either receive pet care services from Sharon (Southwest Chicagoland Suburbs) or Marisa & Austin (San Diego). Get in touch with us to confirm!
- We will never have outside guests in your home and your pet will never be left alone for more than five hour for drop-in visits.
- Medication administration (both oral and topical) is included in our pricing.
- We will send ‘pupdates’ of your animals during our visit (these are subject to social media use!).
