Hi, I’m Sharon! 👋
Welcome to Pet You A Latte, where my love for dogs and coffee (in that order) combined with the loss of my precious pup of sixteen years, Flash, has inspired me to love on everyone else’s pets who need love and nurturing during their owners’ absence.
Growing up in Chicago, I’ve had dogs — from my childhood pup, Tico (a chihuahua who was brought home to me in the pocket of my father’s coat one winter evening)— to Pepper, a sweet white-and-black mixed breed.
‘Flash‘ forward to my daughters’ pick from A.D.O.P.T. Animal Shelter, a forlorn Staffordshire Pitbull named Flash who became the highlight of our lives until his passing in April 2023. The character of his gentle, loving breed has motivated my adult daughters to both own rescue Pitbulls, and my older daughter is now on her third rescue pup!
As my daughters both now live out of state, I understand, firsthand, how important it is to have a trusted, loving, mature caretaker who will treat your precious furbaby (or other pet) as their own while you are away.
And that is my promise to you.
I will provide loving care, medication administration, meals, walks, visits, and lots of pets (and hugs). My services are customizable to your pet’s particular needs.

Espresso Shots |
Walks & Play
Our ‘Espresso Shots’ include all of the following: general check-in, walk and/or potty break, play time/cuddle time, feeding, and medication administration, if applicable.
If your pet does not require a walk, we will have in-home or backyard play to keep your pet stimulated and active while you’re away.
The prices below are applicable for small, caged pets as well and include habitat adjustments, feeding, and medication administration, if applicable.
Single Shot (20min walk/play) — $20
Double Shot (30min walk/play) — $30
Triple Shot (1 hour walk/play) — $45
The Paw-Puccino | Overnight Care
Our ‘Paw-Puccino’ is a 10-hour in-home stay, typically from 9PM-7AM (unless otherwise arranged) and includes a 20-minute morning walk with breakfast and medication administration, if applicable.
If you need us to stay extra hours, we’d be happy to! We offer day-sitting packages (see ‘Latte’ pricing). Or, if you’d like us to stop by for another drop-in visit and/or walk before you get back, we can do that as well (see ‘Espresso Shot’ pricing).
You can also add additional hours (evening or morning) with our ‘Sweetener’ rate.
Classic Paw-Puccino (10-hour) — $100/night
Sweetener (Hourly Rate) — $25/hour

Classic Day Sitting
If you need someone to stay with your pet(s) in your home during the day, we’d love to! Our ‘Vanilla Latte’ is a 4-hour stay, and the ‘Mocha Latte’ is a 6-hour stay. All Latte’s include one 20-minute walk and/or potty break(s), feeding, and medication administration, if applicable.
You may add additional hours by bundling with our ‘Paw-Puccino’ (Overnight Care) or our hourly rate of $25/hour. You can also add additional walks (see ‘Espresso Shot’ pricing).
Vanilla Latte — $90 (4-hour stay)
Mocha Latte — $135 (6-hour stay)
Sweetener (Hourly Rate) — $25/hour
The Cold Brew | Boarding Services
We offer boarding services for pets in need of a safe, engaging place to say while their paw-rents are out of town. Priority will be to clients we’ve worked with previously and those displaying good temperament.
A complimentary ‘Meet & Greet’ (30-min) is required to ensure pet(s) are familiar with us and our home. If time is extended, or another meeting is necessary, it will be billed at $25/hour.
Pets must have no history of biting, be up-to-date on vaccinations, and in good health. A waiver must be signed prior to drop-off.

NOTES FOR YOU:
- I offer upgrades on all of my services, as well as custom options! Just get in touch with me if you have specific questions!
- Payment is due by EOD on the final day of services. Please note that ‘The Vanilla Latte’ (Day Sitting) for more than 4 hours will be upgraded to ‘The Mocha Latte.’
- It is the owner’s responsibility to update Pet You A Latte with all pertinent information regarding illness, medication, temperament, and otherwise prior to service start date. Medication administration (both oral and topical) is included in my pricing.
NOTES FROM US:
- You’re on Sharon’s page, which services the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, including Darien, IL and surrounding areas! If you’re curious about care in specific areas, just get in touch with me!
- I will never have outside guests in your home and your pet will never be left alone for more than 4-5 hours between drop-in visits.
- I will send ‘pupdates’ of your animals during my visit(s) (these are subject to social media use!).
